The Multilift ULTIMA 18 Series truck-mounted hooklifts (18.46, 18.51, 18.53, 18.56, and 18.61-HYD) feature an innovative design that provides maximum efficiency, greater control, and enhanced safety and productivity for every loading job. They vary only in their outstanding lifting capacity (42,500 to 45,000 lb), total weight (3,900 to 4,600 lb), and available body lengths (15 to 24 feet). All are fast, safe, powerful and virtually maintenance-free. HYD and quick-function FX-PERFORMANCE models are available.

Fingertip control and lots of standard features

ULTIMA 18 hooklifts operate with fingertip control thanks to Multilift FLEX. They feature a box construction with Multilift's innovative sliding (S) hook arm technology. The twin main tipping cylinders offer excellent stability during dumping and loading. They operate with powerful 4350 PSI 20 USGPM hydraulics, JIC fittings, and a 50-degree dump angle, ideal for almost every job. Multilift Friction Relief automatically raises the front of the container before it slides, ensuring safe, smooth operation. Electric control valves are pre-mounted and pre-plumbed for optimal performance. The separate 20-gallon Imperial oil tank is lightweight, solid, durable, rust-resistant, withstands rough road conditions, and is easy to install. Multilift ULT 18 models feature an in-tank return filter and a high-pressure filter, which protect the hydraulics. Job done.

Lock up safety and increase flexibility

The ULTIMA 18 locks it all up for greater flexibility and safety of your load and equipment. An auto-lock on the hook makes this machine even more flexible, allowing shorter bodies to be transported with the hook arm back. A mechanical frame lock secures the middle and rear frames during tipping. A safety interlock automatically latches the hook while dumping and holding valves on the main and hook arms protect against load drop and hose failure.

Optional FX AUTO or FX PERFORMANCE Multilift models take hooklift technology to the next level—more features, more options and boosted performance. Other options

There’s not much you can add to the Multilift 18 with FX PERFORMANCE. It’s about as fantastic as you can get, but you can opt for a manually adjustable hook and a factory-installed aluminum hydraulic oil tank. You can also upgrade from a sliding ‘S’-hook to a sliding and tilting ‘Z’-hook. It offers a lower loading angle and height, ideal for tight or low-height spaces, plus greater flexibility for handling different container lengths.

Multilift ULTIMA 18 hooklifts also offer a range of options to boost convenience, performance, and safety. Think Rollrite tarp systems to protect your load, high-visibility FTLS and LED lighting systems, beacon packages and HD rear-view cameras to further improve safety and extended delivery hours.
