Radical Flexibility

Multilift ULTIMA 16FX and ULTIMA 16FX-PERF truck-mounted hooklifts give operators increased control, capacity, speed, and productivity on every job—without compromising safety. A 16-tonne capacity, patented Sliding ‘S’ hook arm with box construction, twin main tipping cylinders, and a 50-degree dump angle are just the beginning. ‘FX’ stands for Multilift Flex, delivering fingertip control on the umbilical. Friction Relief automatically raises the front of the container before sliding for faster, smoother operation. Add low structural weight, ultra-strong materials, and extra-high performance, and they can handle from basic to the most demanding loading tasks you can throw at them.

Safety meets the ‘ULTIMA’ standard

All Multilift ULTIMA 16 models come with a load of safety features, including a mechanical frame lock that secures the middle and rear frames during tipping, a safety interlock that secures the hook arm out when dumping, and holding valves on the main and hook arm cylinders to protect against load drop and hose failure. They have JIC hydraulic fittings and a high-pressure filter to protect the ULTIMA 16’s hydraulic system. FX-HYD models have a plumbed, pre-mounted three-spool electric control valve, and a separate 20 Imperial gallon oil tank with an in-tank return filter for frame mounting.

Nine models. Limitless possibilities

Five Multilift ULTIMA 16-FX models (ULT 16.46, 16.51, 16.53. 16.56 and 16.61FX handle a range of container bodies from 15 to 24 feet and longer non-dumping flat decks (13 to 16 ft bodies with the hook arm back). Four ULTIMA 16-FX PERFORMANCE models (ULT 16.46, 16.53, 16.56 AND 16.61-FX-PERF) boast additional cool features. Automatic Sequence control unlocks/locks the container body, then moves the hook and main arms in sequence with one easy control motion. Fast Speed, Fast Tipping, Fast Lowering, and Safe Speed make it faster to unload an empty container, dump and lower the container after dumping. It includes larger pipes and hoses, a larger hydraulic return filter and sophisticated regenerative load-holding valves.

Accessories for every possible need

You can fit MULTILIFT ULTIMA 16FX-HYD and 16FX-PERF models with almost every imaginable accessory to take flexibility to the next level. Add polypropylene, steel or aluminum checkerplate, tandem or lift-axle fenders. Add a medium- or heavy-duty towing package, HD rear and quad-view cameras, a range of LED lighting options, or pintle plates. Add custom body locks, switch the ULT16-HYD model to an aluminum oil tank. Cover your load with one of two electric Rollrite tarp systems and weatherproof your stuff with an aluminum toolbox.
